Globalization and multiculturalism is a result of the world getting smaller with development of technologies and transport. As the modern age came these topics became even more relevant.
Although we can say that it is considered as a controversial topic by many people. As Slovakia is rather a conservative country we protect ourselves against greater opening of our borders. On the other hand we should consider our help for people asking for our citizenship.
Globalisation certainly brings many benefits but it can also pose new challenges we should deal with by use of common sense. As for multiculture we need to perceive carefully whether this would bring benefits or drawbacks.
Globalizácia a multikulturalizmus sú dôsledkom toho, že svet sa s rozvojom technológií a dopravy zmenšuje. S príchodom modernej doby sa tieto témy stali ešte aktuálnejšími.
Hoci môžeme povedať, že mnohí ľudia ju považujú za kontroverznú tému. Keďže Slovensko je skôr konzervatívna krajina, bránime sa väčšiemu otvoreniu našich hraníc. Na druhej strane by sme mali zvážiť našu pomoc ľuďom, ktorí žiadajú o naše občianstvo.
Globalizácia určite prináša mnoho výhod, ale môže tiež predstavovať nové výzvy, ktoré by sme mali riešiť s použitím zdravého rozumu. Pokiaľ ide o multikultúru, musíme pozorne vnímať, či prinesie výhody alebo nevýhody.
Another topic related to this concept is a migration. It is vital to think of this issue from higher perspective. We know that even Slovakians were migrating, especially during early 20th century to USA.
They were useful work labour manpower so then USA citizen had reasonable situation to greet them to their new home. From this point things were working fine and now we can see many US citizens have Slovak or even Czech surnames.
Nowadays, this issue is quite deeper than in the past. It is in reasonable question what are true intentions of migrating people. That's why perhaps careful but helpful and individual approach towards this concerns may be the best way.
Finally, all these phenomenons can be of benefit for our country if we can find correct approach how to treat these issues and setup efficient standards for living in the modern age.
Ďalšou témou súvisiacou s týmto konceptom je migrácia. O tejto problematike je nevyhnutné uvažovať z vyššieho hľadiska. Vieme, že aj Slováci migrovali, najmä začiatkom 20. storočia do USA.
Boli užitočnou pracovnou silou, takže občania USA ich mohli v novom domove privítať v primeranej situácii. Od tohto momentu veci fungovali dobre a teraz môžeme vidieť, že mnohí občania USA majú slovenské alebo dokonca české priezviská.
V súčasnosti je tento problém oveľa hlbší ako v minulosti. Je opodstatnenou otázkou, aké sú skutočné zámery migrujúcich ľudí. Preto je možno najlepšou cestou opatrný, ale ústretový a individuálny prístup k tomuto problému.
Napokon, všetky tieto javy môžu byť pre našu krajinu prínosom, ak sa nám podarí nájsť správny prístup k riešeniu týchto problémov a nastaviť efektívne štandardy pre život v modernej dobe.
